Paris/London Travel Question

  • Mar. 10th, 2009 at 10:55 AM

I'm very excited to finally be able to use this gem of a passport holder that I picked up several months ago. However, before that happens I have to find a cheap trip to London and Paris.

The travel company we normally use doesn't have the best options for the time we want to go, and considering I know many LJ friends who are well-traveled, I thought I would ask you for companies or even cheap travel suggestions.

1.) Have you used a Travel Company in the past that you've liked and is also cheap, cheap, cheap
2.) Or do you have any cheap hotel, air fair suggests for traveling to Paris or London specifically
3.) And last do you have any must see things to recommend in Paris or London

Thanks so much.

There's just so much on the Internet and it's much better to hear suggestions from people that actually worked.

When I was in college, I could use Student Universe and they were great. NOw that we are NOT, I use Orbitz for pretty much everything. How fun!!!!!

I loved Student Universe. That was the bomb. I wish we could still use it too!!! And I checked Orbitz, and flights themselves aren't that bad. But when you include hotel, train transfer, etc, it gets a bit tricky. And I was hoping to find a group travel company that's cheaper. We might just have to do a different date or pay more. But Jordan's sister is going to be there this summer and we'd really like to visit.

I have no travel advice as I have hardly been anywhere. Boo hoo, but lucky you!!!

In my cupcake book, the main character buys a passport holder at the dollar store, because she loves the idea of traveling and having your passport protected in a little notebook. She ends up using it as a notebook though. :)

Lisa this is too cute. I've never used a passport holder, but when I saw this one I had to have it. I have no idea if it will be useful because it kind of makes it bulkier, but I guess that could be good because I tend to loose stuff in my carry-on bags.

Such a cute character trait :) I might have to refashion mine as a notebook somehow, so I can get more use out of it.
